the fruits were amazing. although if anyone has ever tried a durian fruit (the spiky one in the rear), you might disagree. the locals say it tastes like heaven and smells like hell; i thought it both tasted and smelled like shit... Posted by Picasa

we also made a trip to melaka, the birthplace of malaysia and on the namesake straights of melaka, where ships are slowed to such a rate that piracy is still alive and well. arrrhhh you scurvy scalawags!  Posted by Picasa

it was a great night filled with aussie's and craziness. though there was one camera stolen and a certain member in our group passed out on the side of the road at around 2:00. he rebounded though and went home with some unknown ladies, yikes. Posted by Picasa

my favorite part of this trip was the canopy walk. that horizontal line some 40 meters above gives you a sense of what they mean by canopy walk. Posted by Picasa
